Pacific Northwest History & GenealogyThese photos are taken from an old family photo album, which I found at an estate sale in Bellevue, Washington many years ago. They were taken on Mercer Island, in Vancouver B.C.'s Stanley Park, and other locations.
I don't know the family, but many of the photos are captioned with names, places, and approximate dates. It's a fascinating look at early 20th century Pacific Northwest. My husband grew up on Mercer Island, and we have found the photos of the island particularly interesting.
If you have information on any of the people or places in this album, I'd love to hear from you. And, if you'd like to use the photos for your own purposes (either in print or on the web), or would like to view a larger image, please get in touch. I'd be happy to work something out with you.
It's my hope that these photos will be of use to family historians, genealogists, and researchers.
